Four Easy Ways to Get Past Clients to Work With You Again

By Natalie Sisson ·

Heads up: this post is from 2013. The ideas hold up, but some tools, prices and links will have moved on since. For Natalie’s current work, head to NatalieSisson.com.

Did you know that keeping your existing customers is easier and way more cost effective than trying to get new ones? Well it’s the truth!

So if you’re currently trying to attract new clients all the time, can I ask why are you overlooking your past or existing ones?

Have you tried the simple trick of re-engaging with those lovely people you’ve done business with before or have bought from you?

If you’re smacking yourself in the forehead right now going “By gads Natalie, you’re right. They’ve been staring me in the face all along!” Don’t worry. I’ve got your back.

In this video I’ve got four ways you can get back in touch with clients and get them working with you again and bringing you more revenue.

The lovely thing about doing biz online though is that we have an opportunity to create really brilliant relationships with our clients and keep in touch just by keeping on their radar and being visible and helpful.

I actually wrote about making lasting friendships + meaningful relationships on the move here so if I can do it from my suitcase, so can you!

Without my community (yep, you!), I wouldn’t be able to have any kind of business or live this freedom lifestyle that I value so much. And I know one of the reasons the community is so strong is because I engage with all of you + my clients almost every single day.

We talk over Facebook through groups like the Social Media Club, Twitter, email, and we meet at conferences, on cruise ships, and a lot of you have offered up your home for me to stay in!

To help you put the spark back into your client relationships, here are four quick and easy ways to re-engage with your clients.

In this video, you’ll learn:

  • Which engagement method offers value to your client + releases the feeling of being too “salesy”
  • One client engagement tip that adds a personal touch people rarely get these days
  • One simple tactic for finding opportunities for collaboration and expanding your network
  • Which type of recommendation you can offer to help make their life and business easier

Resources You Can Use to Engage with Your Clients:

  • Zoho CRM gives you a 360-degree view of your complete sales cycle and pipeline so that you can keep track of your existing and potential clients, leads and sales opportunities.
  • Google Hangouts are a great way to hold live group calls with customers and clients for tutorials, Q&A or focus groups.
