Podcasts have seen explosive growth in the last 6-12 months. I’m a huge fan of podcasts and think they’re great – obviously, as I love hosting my own!
Each week, I receive several emails asking about the power of podcasting, what they should be about and how often they should be recorded. Since there are so many great ways to accelerate your business by creating a podcast, I asked Ben Krueger from AuthorityEngine to weigh in on the topic.
Ben, like so many other entrepreneurs I know, began his business because he wanted to stop being a cog in the corporate machine. He began listening to the Lifestyle Business Podcast – now known as The Tropical MBA Podcast – which helped fuel is entrepreneurial fire.
When the creators of the Tropical MBA Podcast offered him a chance to work in the Philippines, he jumped on it and never looked back.
It was during his time there that he discovered what a pain in the butt podcast editing was for so many people and seized the opportunity to make a mark for himself.
Focusing on using podcasts as a business tool, he honed his talents by connecting with potential customers to find out what exactly they had issues with so he could design a product that offered value.
Now just over a year later, Ben runs a successful podcasting business while traveling the world and hosts his own show.
Ready to learn how he turned this opportunity into a successful business? Even if you’re not intending on podcasting, you’ll still learn a ton from this interview.
Just click on the play button at the top or download this in iTunes or on Stitcher Radio (and do not forget to leave a review as these help others to find and enjoy my podcast).
