Lately, it seems as though everyone and their next door neighbour is asking me this one question; “Is there a market for this?”
To be fair, when you are first getting started this question is important. Determining whether or not your big idea – whether it is a product, service, or simply selling yourself and information – has a market that is willing to pay is essential.
What bothers me about this question specifically is when it comes from people who have already been investing time, money and effort into creating their big idea without first validating the market base.
So, in this week’s Fresh in Fifteen I have a little rant and answer this question for you, giving you tips on how to determine who your ideal customer is, and suggesting valuable resources to help you answer this question yourself. Go on; listen in!
