If you don’t already know Tamara Thorpe, I could introduce her in a number of ways; an experienced traveler, an adventure junkie, a teaching professional or a millennial expert.
Growing up, her parents really encouraged her to see the world and consequently Tamara grew up experiencing life outside of LA where she was born.
At 16, she had the opportunity to travel to Spain for a high school exchange program and it was profoundly life-changing. There she began to understand herself and different cultures which eventually led her to travel to South Korea and teach English; an experience that totally kickstarted her career in international training and education.
After completing her Masters in leadership in Canada and working with a variety of non-profit cultural exchange programs, Tamara found her “niche” in training and mentoring. She specializes in her understanding of the millennials and has a written a paper “Let a Millennial Mentor You” on the same.
To find out how she got her beginnings and why she so strongly believes in the millennials, listen to this podcast now by clicking the play button at the top or download this in iTunes or on Stitcher Radio (and do not forget to leave a review as these help others to find and enjoy my podcast).
