One of the toughest things do when you are starting out and even as you’re growing your business, is figuring out and defining your true expertise.
To give you an example,when I started out I was attempting to position myself as an expert in helping you to use social media effectively to get more business.
I sure didn’t feel like an ‘expert’ but I was certainly ahead of the curve compared to the rest of the entrepreneurs keen to learn from me.
The thing is, the minute you position yourself in your area of expertise as the ‘go-to’ person in your niche or industry, and the ONE person people always think about or refer to when it comes to the area you are knowledgeable in, your business is going to explode…if you leverage your expertise.
In this Fresh in Fifteen episode I share:
- How to figure out the best way define yourself
- When is the right time to apply the label ‘expert’ and;
- My Top Ten tips to standing out from the crowd and owning your expertise

I love listening to these inspiring stories of entrepreneurial success these interviewees achieved while traveling the world, having tons of fun and finding their own authentic voice. Gives me courage to publish my story of long term world travel and how it all started – more than 6 years ago. I’m glad I stumbled upon Natalie’s podcast because she creates a global and virtual community – and that’s what world travelers need.
