Having a freedom lifestyle business has many benefits including working on things you are passionate about while earning money and having more time to do the things that you want or traveling the world.
I mean let’s face it, that’s why those of us who have built a business we can run from a laptop, take anywhere and that can run without us if need be, is because we want the freedom to choose when we work and where, or if we don’t work at all and instead go traveling or simply take time off.
But I realized that the most important reason to having a lifestyle business is having the freedom to take the time off when you need to drop everything, like when I traveled to New Zealand when I needed to be with my family, especially my Dad.
Suddenly it dawned on me that had I been in a 9-5 job with limited leave, heading off across the other side of the world at short notice would have been very costly and limited.
If I had a business that required my full attention every day I also would have been in a state, as at times like these you get hit mentally and physically and your priorities change significantly.
In this episode I delve more into the importance of designing a business you love around your lifestyle needs, and it’s why I’m excited to finally be launching the Freedom Collective – an amazing community to fully support each other and hang out with other entrepreneurs around the world. It also includes a group coaching call with yours truly.
