Episode 85 Day in the life of a Suitcase Entrepreneur

Many of you have asked me how I actually live my Suitcase Entrepreneur life. More specifically, people seem to want to know how I work on the go and maintain any sort of daily routine.Episode 85 Day in the life of a Suitcase Entrepreneur

Today I’m going to be pulling back the curtain and giving you an inside look at how I live my life.

Over the years I have come up with several business and productivity tips that have helped me balance work, while still managing to explore as a tourist.

Now, before we get into it, I’d like to address one thing that I’ve come to realize is incredibly important; time.

As an entrepreneur or freelancer, you’re solely responsible for how you manage your time.

That can be a great thing or an extremely bad thing. It depends if you’re any good at managing your time and setting up systems to make you more productive and effective.

As a Suitcase Entrepreneur, I value freedom in business and adventure in life. I like to do what I want, when I want and spend my time on what I want. Yet I’m traveling almost full time, so it can be a challenge to squeeze as many hours out of a day as possible.

I realized early on that the only way to do this, and to gain more freedom, was ironically to become more disciplined. By establishing some key routines every day (where possible), and continuing to build a system that optimized my time, I would essentially free up more time to do what I love.

I think this also applies to you if you work from home or an office. Some simple systems and daily routines will make all the difference to you feeling 100% more productive.

What you will learn in this podcast:

  • 13 tips to increase productivity
  • Why being disciplined is essential
  • Some of my tricks for remaining motivated
  • The simple tool I find helpful for clearing away distractions
  • 3 MIA’s
