Heads up: this post is from 2011. The ideas hold up, but some tools, prices and links will have moved on since. For Natalie’s current work, head to NatalieSisson.com.

Discover Your Passion. Make Money From It. Travel The World.

If there is one thing I preach about here on the Suitcase Entrepreneur blog, it’s freedom. Creating freedom in business and adventure in life. I believe true freedom comes from aligning your purpose with your passion and having a lot of fun.

When you do that nothing else matters.

Everything falls into a state of flow.

You’re right where you’re meant to be.

You’re in alignment with your purpose.

You’re making money beautifully.

But this ain’t no easy thing to do. At least it doesn’t appear to be at first. Finding your passion doesn’t just happen by looking behind a door.

I’m still amused when people say they’re `waiting to find their passion’. Nothing good ever comes to those who wait. You have to go out there and grab that passion by the horns and go on the wildest ride of your life.

And no, it doesn’t happen over night, you don’t suddenly wake up and go `Oh found it, there is my passion, it’s been hiding under my bed all along, silly me.’

However it’s definitely there waiting for you to discover it by doing, taking action, trying new stuff and seeing what ignites your fire, and more importantly what doesn’t.

Does the work you do make you come alive?

As it turns out, some recent studies show that as many as 80% of people in the workforce don’t enjoy their work and nearly 75% don’t know what they are passionate about.

I’d hazard a guess, that as entrepreneurs, we are better equipped at following what we think we are passionate about even if at times, it seems like the hardest thing we have ever done.

The point is we have at least stepped off that precipice to take a chance on life and on building on what moves and drives us. That’s more than most people will ever do in a lifetime.

If you’re anything like me, your life and work merge together rather wondrously so that you are almost always in a state of equilibrium – that is crazy in love with what you do!

Scott Dinsmore Live Your PassionBut if that doesn’t sound like you at all, then I have good news.

Thanks to a good friend of mine, Scott Dinsmore (yes that handsome son of a gun on your left), you don’t have to be in that place anymore.

For the past few years Scott has studied, interviewed and done case studies on hundreds of folks around the world making a living off their passion.

As a result, he’s discovered a process that not only helps people find their passion but also gives them the vital steps to make a career out of it.

He’s created the first self-study course of its kind to combine the art of discovering your passion with the science of making money from it. Combining the two in one resource completes the equation.

It’s called:

Live Off Your Passion: An Unconventional Guide to Finding Passion and Getting Paid to Do Work You Love

Check out Live Off Your Passion now – because there’s no time like the present.

Here’s an idea of what’s included:

  • A 200-page, 52,000 word PDF guide containing 25 modules
  • An in-depth step-by-step 72-page interactive accountability and action workbook to ensure results
  • A suite of online resources, tools and top websites for monetizing a passion

He also did something crazy and created the first ever “Discover Your Passion Guarantee” – if you do the work and still don’t find your passion and start making money from it, you get your money back. Pretty cool.

Most people don’t do work they enjoy either because they don’t think it’s possible or they don’t have the tools and guidance to get there.

It doesn’t have to be that way…

Check out Live Off Your Passion to learn how.

PS. As you know I don’t promote other people’s wonderful work on here very often so when I do you know I totally stand behind it 100% and have a personal trust, respect and admiration for the person in question – aka this is so worth it so take the time to look at what this course involves.
