[Day 7] Beating Procrastination And Overwhelm

Procrastination and Overwhelm are two sides of the same coin, and their only purpose is to keep you stuck in the place you are. But here’s the secret — any time you feel either of them, it’s an indication that you are on the right path.

I know you want freedom so bad that you feel like you have to learn about every single step of the way that will get you there. So you dive into every blog post, video, and book you can find on the topic.

After some time, you seem to have learned so much that most of the information seems contradictory, and you get overwhelmed with all the things you have to do.

Even if you do finally manage to escape the clutches of overwhelm and make up your mind to do something, you hesitate at the last moment. What if it isn’t good enough? What if it doesn’t work? You start procrastinating.

Then some friend or colleague tells you about a new book that could help and you get all excited. And the cycle starts all over again.

In today’s video, I’m going to show the only way you can beat this double threat of procrastination and overwhelm, and find your way to creating more freedom in your life.

Day 7 Challenge: For today’s challenge I want you to pick one imperfect action that you can take every day that will move you closer to the life you have envisioned. It could be 5 minutes of walking or meditation, or even just continuing the momentum of this challenge and keep writing 200 words a day on your blog. Pick that one imperfect action and write a post about why you chose the particular action and what you imagine it will be like if you do it every day for the next 30 days.

Instructions for today’s challenge:

  1. Write a reply to the day’s challenge in the form of a blog post on your own blog. It doesn’t have to be long, 200 words are enough. But I do want you to think about it deeply because it will help you start to create a life you love – trust me.
  2. Make sure you link to the URL for today’s challenge in your own blog post by including the following hyperlinked line (that leads to this blog post’s URL):
This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 7
  3. Copy the URL of the blog post you wrote in response to today’s challenge and PASTE it in the comments section of THIS blog post. This is important if you want to qualify for the awesome prizes I have on offer for you. Impt Note: We are manually approving your comments so it may not show up straight away.

I will talk to you tomorrow,

Natalie xo
