Why Persistence Pays Off And You Should Never Give In

One of my favourite Eminem songs is `Lose yourself’ because the lyrics always pump me up, especially the line “Success is your only mother f#cking option, failure’s not!”

It’s straight to the point, no holds barred and I like it at times when I need a kick up the proverbial. It motivates me like nothing else and keeps me focused.

As does Winston Churchill’s famous “Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, give in. Never give in. Never give in. Never give in.” speech. We all know what a prominent figure he’s been in changing history and defying critics.

When you’re in business for yourself there will always be people who will tell you something can’t be done, your product or service won’t succeed, people won’t pay for it, there’s too much competition, the risks are too high….. and so on. If we listened to those naysayers, especially when just starting out, there’d be no businesses in business!

That’s why I love this short motivational video about amazing people who overcame huge obstacles, never gave up and found their own success. Enjoy
