Hi Robert

Great question! Actually on this interview I was fortunate enough to have Dorothy's PR firm approach me and Lanny was great and passing on my questions and getting the answers back.

I then just ask for a photo, bio and any other useful information so I can do my research on what makes Dorothy extra special.

Otherwise there's no harm in just asking the person you want to interview! Hit them up on all the social networks with fun friendly requests. Then once you have their attention make it as easy as possible for them to partake - suggest they just give bullet points and you'll write it up for them, conduct an interview on the phone or Skype and go from there.

Plus if they can see a benefit for their audience then they're more than happy to help and it's quite lovely being asked for an interview!

Nice interview!

How did you go about landing the interview with Ms. Hamilton? As a blogger, I'd like to know how to actually get the attention of someone like this and get them to spend the time for an interview.

If the secret is groveling, then I'm set! Otherwise, I'm clueless how it's done.
